About Dr Sajjad Rajpar (MBChB (Hons), MRCP)…

Dr Rajpar has been a Consultant Dermatologist for almost ten years. Dr Rajpar qualified from Birmingham University in 2000 with the prestigious gold medal (awarded to the top student). Dr Rajpar subsequently completed training in Dermatology in the West Midlands, and then undertook specialist fellowship training in Mohs surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology in New Zealand. Dr Rajpar entered the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology in 2008 and has been a Consultant Dermatologist at University Hospital Birmingham since 2009 where he sees patients with all types of skin diseases, leads the Mohs and skin surgery service, and participates on the emergency dermatology rota.

Dr Rajpar has been providing aesthetic treatments including botulinum toxin injections, fillers and lasers since 2007. He specialises in creating harmony and balance to facial features in a subtle and natural way. He has lectured in aesthetic dermatology and recently completed a book chapter on the subject for a leading Plastic Surgery textbook. He has widely published in lasers, and is one of the few clinicians to offer Tixel, a revolutionary new rejuvenation treatment. Dr Rajpar has an interest in adult acne and acne scarring as well.

Having authored a textbook on skin cancer, Dr Rajpar provides expertise in screening moles and skin lesions for skin cancer and treating skin cancers and precancerous lesions. Being a national and regional trainer in skin surgery, Dr Rajpar provides the whole range of skin surgical procedures including cosmetic removal of skin lesions (such as moles, warts and skin tags) to the management of advanced and complex skin cancers with Mohs surgery.

Dr Rajpar also provides a full medical dermatology service and sees patients over the age of 16 years with any skin condition, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, acute skin problems and conditions which are yet to be diagnosed. Dr Rajpar is also interested in the diagnosis and management of hair loss, and provides a second opinion service for hair loss problems to his immediate colleagues.

Prospective patients are invited to undertake either a dermatology consultation or a non-committal aesthetic consultation. During the latter, Dr Rajpar will discuss your concerns in detail and provide a thorough facial analysis. Advice on how non-surgical treatments may improve facial proportions, symmetry, volume loss, skin quality, complexion, lines and wrinkles, with minimal downtime will be provided.

Dr Rajpar prides himself in providing a bespoke, unrushed service, focussing on individual needs. He is recognised by all major insurance companies and is fee assured with BUPA.
