Dr Lynch MA DPhil MRCS MRCP(Derm) is a Consultant Dermatologist, Mohs Surgeon and Laser Surgeon. He is highly experienced in all aspects of adult dermatology with particular expertise in skin surgery, laser surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
Dr Lynch studied medicine at Christ’s College, Cambridge qualifying in 2003 and subsequently passed membership examinations for both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Surgeons. He trained in dermatology as well as completing a fellowship in Mohs surgery and advanced dermatological surgery at the world-renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology where he now works as a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon as well as leading the melanoma multidisciplinary meeting. Dr Lynch has been recognized on the GMC specialist register (the UK equivalent of board certification in dermatology) since 2017.
Alongside his clinical work he is actively involved in research having completed a PhD at the Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford and now leads a research team investigating the cellular biology of healthy skin and skin cancer.
His aim is to combine his extensive clinical experience with evidence-based application of both established and newer treatments to develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your goals.
